Charles Wayne Keenan

Charles Wayne Keenan, 57, of Claysville, died Tuesday, January 22, 2013, in Washington Hospital, following a lengthy illness.

He was born October 5, 1955, in Washington, a son of the late Lloyd L. and Harriett Nora Ritter Keenan.

Mr. Keenan was a graduate of McGuffey High School and served in the U.S. Marines during the Vietnam era.

He was an ironworker with Local 3, Pittsburgh, for more than 20 years.

Mr. Keenan was a member of American Legion 907 in Taylorstown and was a former township supervisor for Blaine Township.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Jo Palfrey Keenan; three sons, Cody W. (Sheena) Keenan of Claysville and Montana W. Keenan and Jason Dalfonso, both of Washington; a daughter, Brianne (Michael) Rosendale of Charleroi; five brothers, Larry, Jerry, John, Kenny and Danny Keenan; five sisters, Virginia “Sis” Kearns, Ruby Keeney, Mary Berdine, Shirley Stazko and Linda Pescho; and two grandchildren, Colin W. Keenan and Logan Keenan Dalfonso.

Deceased are brothers Richard, Donald, James and Lloyd.

Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., the time of service, Saturday, January 26, in American Legion Post 907, Taylorstown. Private burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
