Peter Dipietrantonio
Peter Dipietrantonio, 90, of California, died Thursday, January 24, 2013.
He was born Wednesday, January 17, 1923, in Daisytown, a son of the late Luigi and Annunziata Dipietrantonio.
Mr. Dipietrantonio was a member of California American Legion, JFK Post 377 and a life member of National Rifle Association.
Deceased, in addition to his parents, are his wife, Marianna, who died October 3, 2002; and two sisters, Edith Robinson and Vera Young.
Left to cherish his memory are a daughter, Carol Rossi; a son and daughter-in-law, Louis and Robin Dipietrantonio; a brother, Mario Dipietrantonio and wife Dorothy of Richeyville; four grandchildren, Danielle Dipietrantonio, Theron Dipietrantonio and wife Jennifer, Aron Dipietrantonio and Cynthia Rossi; and three great-grandchildren, Samantha Oliver, Lairah and Rya Dipietrantonio.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and until 10 a.m., the time of prayers of translation, Saturday, January 26, in Mariscotti Funeral Home Inc., Anthony N. Mariscotti, supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church, California, with Father Michael Zavage as celebrant. Interment will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Coal Center.
