Robert Lee Warth
Robert Lee “Bob” Warth, 85, of Lehigh Acres, Fla., died Tuesday, January 15, 2013, in the home of his daughter and son in Seminole, Fla.
He was born July 9, 1927, in Mt. Clemens, Mich., a son of the late Norman Charles Sr. and Inez Lenore Ruckman Warth.
Mr. Warth received honorable discharges from the U.S. Army and the U.S. Coast Guard for his service with the Merchant Marines during World War II.
He was employed as an engineer with Honeywell for 25 years, before retiring in 1986.
Mr. Warth and his wife, Eva, owned and operated beach rental property in Florida for 40 years.
He was a former member of Seminole Chamber of Commerce and a member of Victory Christian Center Church in Lehigh Acres.
Deceased are his wife, Eva Skirchak Warth; a daughter, Cynthia; a brother, Norman Charles Warth Jr.; and a sister, Orabelle Warth Mellars.
Surviving are a son, Russell (Beverly) of Maryville, Tenn.; a son, Norman Warth, and a daughter, Kimberley Warth, both of Seminole; three grandchildren, Jessica, April and Adam; two great-grandsons, Scott and Garret; a brother, Donald (Judy) Warth of Cumming, Ga.; and three sisters, Betty Kenzleiter of Lawrence, Marilyn Beckenger of Washington and Carol Sue (Harold) Blayney of Venetia.
