Mary J. Wilkins
Mary J. Wilkins, 85, of Slovan, passed away Friday morning, January 25, 2013, in Washington Hospital.
She was born May 16, 1927, a daughter of the late James and Emma Hoberek Dross.
Surviving are five daughters, Violet Marie of Florence, Shirley Jane Cox of Slovan, Thelma Shubel and husband Roy of Florence, Vera Darlene Vizyak and husband Gary of Avella and Roberta Wussick and husband Nick of South View; a son, Arthur N. Wilkins and wife Mary of Atlasburg; 23 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
She also leaves behind her faithful canine companion, Spike.
Deceased, in addition to her parents, are her husband, Arthur N. Wilkins Sr.; three brothers, Stanley, Mike and John Dross; a sister, Ann Crow; and two grandchildren, Fred Smith and Tina Markish.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Lee & Martin Funeral Home, 73 Highland Avenue, Burgettstown, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Janaury 28, with Pastor Sam Linton officiating. Internment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Burgettstown.
