Shirley Naomi Anderson McAfee, 80, of Chandler, Ariz., went home to her Lord and Savior on Monday, January 14, 2013.

She was born February 21, 1932, in Washington, a son of the late David Harrison and Rosetta Beryl McCullough Anderson.

Also deceased are three brothers and four sisters.

Mrs. McAfee was a 1949 graduate of Washington High School.

She was employed at the former Livingston’s Apparel Store in Washington.

On May 27, 1950, in Broad Street Baptist Church, she married Ivan Paul McAfee Jr. They were married for 58 years before he went home with Jesus on February 3, 2009.

Surviving are a son, I. Paul (Aimee) McAfee III of the state of California; three daughters, Trudy Hadden of Florida, Karen (Johnny) Johnson of Texas and Julie (Donald) Hines of Arizona; 11 grandchildren, Jennifer (Bob) Brinkman, Sam (Stephanie) Johnson, Nathan (Amanda) Johnson, Seth (Julie) Johnson, Harmony McAfee (Jim Medina), Megan Gailey, Tessie (Lucas) Alexander, Johanna (Aaron) Mackey, Derek Hines (fiancée Kati Satterberg) and Elyssa and Felicity Hines; eight great-grandchildren, Coral, Brayden and Andrew Gailey, Molly and Clive Johnson, Will and Charlie Johnson and Jillian Johnson; and a childhood friend, Peggy Boswell Hutchison.

Cremation has taken place according to her wishes.
