Philip W. Kampert Sr.
Philip W. “Bup” Kampert Sr., 87, of Peters Township, died Sunday, January 27, 2013.
He was the dearly beloved husband of the late Mildred (Krapp) Kampert; loving father of Philip W. (Mary Lou) Kampert Jr. and Keith R. (Susan) Kampert; cherished grandfather of Kurt (Amanda), Eric (Christa), Timothy and Nicholas (fiancé Tricia Stoner) Kampert; and great-grandfather of Bryce, Haley, William and Nicholas Kampert.
Surviving are siblings Anne Marie (Larry) Malloy and William (Barbara) Kampert and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased are siblings Louise McCarthy, Claire Schlegel, Joseph Kampert and Thomas Kampert.
Friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Beinhauer Funeral Home, 2828 Washington Road, McMurray, 724-941-3211. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 30, in St. Benedict the Abbot Church, McMurray. Interment will be held in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Peters Township. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, 1 North Linden Street, Duquesne, PA 15110.
