Cecyle Brewer Rush
Cecyle Brewer Rush, 96, of Waynesburg, died at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 29, 2013, in Evergreen Personal Care, Waynesburg.
She was born Thursday, April 6, 1916, in Morgantown, W.Va., a daughter of the late Harvey H. and Laura V. Deets Brewer.
Mrs. Rush was affiliated with the Methodist faith.
She was a graduate of Carmichaels High School, Class of 1935, and was a homemaker.
Her husband, Joseph L. Rush, whom she married March 24, 1945, died May 30, 2009.
Surviving are a sister, Irene McTague of Alexandria, Va., and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased is a brother, Paul Brewer.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home Inc., Daryl L. Throckmorton, owner/director, 197 North Maiden Street, Waynesburg, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, February 1, with the Rev. Joseph Weaver officiating.
