L. Jean Kler Dillie

L. Jean Kler Dillie, 76, of Washington, died Wednesday, January 30, 2013, in Washington Hospital.
She was born November 4, 1936, in Washington, a daughter of Emile and Alice Carrie Hixenbaugh Kler.
Mrs. Dillie was a member of Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church.
She worked as a cashier for Foodland supermarket.
Mrs. Dillie enjoyed gardening, solving puzzles and needlework.
On July 15, 1956, she married M. Keith Dillie, who died April 8, 2003.
Mrs. Dillie is survived by a son, Pastor David K. (Rita) Dillie of Latrobe; a brother, Harry (Judy) Kler of Washington; a sister, Mary (Jim) Kita of Washington; two grandchildren, Kerry Dillie of Latrobe and Jason (Felicia) Dillie of Greensburg; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Fern Crumrine, and two brothers, Donald Emile and Robert Eugene Kler.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in Hummell & Jones Funeral Home, 420 Locust Avenue, Washington, Thomas W. Hummell, supervisor, Douglas M. Jones, funeral director, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 2, with Pastor Kenneth Butts and Pastor Ben Scott officiating. Interment will follow in Washington Cemetery.
