Stanley Terrance Cree
Stanley Terrance “Terry” Cree, 60, of Monongahela, died unexpectedly Wednesday, January 30, 2013, in Monongahela Valley Hospital.
He was born July 19, 1952, in Brownsville, a son of Norma G. Deems Dennis, who died October 14, 2012.
Mr. Cree was a 1971 graduate of Monongahela High School. He was employed by Combustion Engineering in East Monongahela until it closed. He then worked and retired from Menzer’s Pool Service in Monongahela.
He spent his life working very hard and truly was a jack-of-all-trades. He was the primary caregiver of his mother for the last 10 years of her life.
He is survived by four brothers and two sisters, Donald N. Cree and wife Mary Jane of Oak Harbor, Ohio, Janet Cree and Mickey Ross of Monroevillle, Kimberly Velmer of Monongahela, and Raymond “Bud” Menzer and wife Susan, John Menzer and wife Ramona Hillman Menzer, and Benjamin Dennis, all of Monongahela.
Friends will be received from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday in Frye Funeral Home Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, February 4, with the Rev. Mark Woomer officiating. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Monongahela.
