Margaret Elizabeth “Betty” Saxon Selestow, 85, of Fredericktown, Centerville Borough, died Saturday, June 29, 2013, in Jefferson Regional Medical Center, Pittsburgh.
She was born March 22, 1928, in Richeyville, a daughter of the late John and Margaret Bartowick Basey Saxon.
A homemaker, Mrs. Selestow enjoyed baking, cooking and traveling to Florida.
She was Catholic.
On June 28, 1947, she married Paul Selestow, who died November 7, 1991.
Surviving are three children, Paul D. Selestow (Terry Lee) of Daisytown, Renee Mayer and Gary R. Selestow (Nancy), both of Fredericktown; four grandchildren, Valerie Selestow, Marcella Criswell (Joshua), Kathryn Selestow and Garett Selestow (Beth); great-grandson Grayson Selestow; two sisters, Helen Sakach of Twinsburg, Ohio, and Jeanette Martin (Joseph) of Clermont, Fla.; two brothers, Tom Bartowick (Hessy) of Olmstead Falls, Ohio, and Pete Bartowick (Roseann) of Punta Gorda, Fla.; sister-in-law Albina Saxon of Brownsville; brother-in-law Anthony Selestow Sr. (Lil) of Milwaukee, Wis.; several nieces and nephews; and dear friend Julia Relovski of Ohio.
Deceased, in addition to her parents and husband, is a devoted brother, John Saxon Sr., and brother-in-law Joe Sakach.
