William R. Smoke

William R. Smoke, 96, of Canonsburg, died Friday, July 5, 2013, in Consulate Health Care, North Strabane Township.
He was born June 19, 1917, in Canonsburg, a son of Joseph and Josephine Mancini Smoke.
Prior to his retirement, he worked as an auditor for Alcoa Corp.
Mr. Smoke was a lifelong resident of Canonsburg, where he was a member and past secretary of Canonsburg Sportsman’s Club.
Surviving are his wife, Ann Mandus Smoke of North Strabane; a son, Joseph Smoke and wife Susan of New York; three daughters, Dolores Brincko of Upper St. Clair, Debra Bruner and husband Kurt of Peters Township and Evonne Somsky and husband John of Canonsburg; a stepson, Clayton McCabe and wife Carol of Mechanicsburg; a brother, Mario Smoke of Canonsburg; four grandchildren, Terri, Tammy, Kimberly and Clayton; four stepgrandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased is a brother, Patsy Smoke.
