Retired teacher taught at Penn Commercial, CCAC

Eloise “Ellie” Gregg, 66, of Washington, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2013, following a lengthy illness. She was surrounded by her loving family.

She was born December 25, 1946, in Washington, a daughter of the late William and Faye Lewis Mogentale.

Mrs. Gregg was a graduate of Chartiers-Houston High School and went on to earn a master’s in business administration from Washington & Jefferson College and a bachelor of arts degree from Waynesburg College.

She taught computer and accounting for many years at Penn Commercial, then for Community College of Allegheny County, from where she retired in 2012.

Surviving are a son, Donevan (Jenny) Gregg and two grandchildren, Donte and Aeriahna Gregg, all of Washington.

Mrs. Gregg enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, watching “Star Trek” and movies and loved her cat.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no visitation and all other services will be private. Condolences may be expressed at www.piattandbarnhillfh.com.
