Mabel L. Yanosky, 82, of Richeyville, formerly of Scenery Hill, died Sunday, July 7, 2013, in Southmont of Presbyterian SeniorCare, Washington.
She was born November 24, 1930, in Centerville, a daughter of the late William and Grace Lash Ford.
A homemaker, she enjoyed her family, grandchildren and the outdoors. She also enjoyed picking berries, cooking and baking, especially making cabbage rolls and Easter breads.
Deceased is her husband, John Yanosky Sr., who died May 25, 1973.
Surviving are two daughters, Barbara M. Ruffa (Thomas) of Washington and Anne Beall (James) of Marianna; a son, John Yanosky Jr. (Deborah) of Uniontown; two brothers, Bill Ford (Nancy) of Twinsburg, Ohio, and Lloyd Ford (Ellen) of Richeyville; two sisters, Violet “Dolly” Meyers of Richeyville and Anne DeLeonardo of Utica, N.Y.; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to her parents and husband, are a daughter, Shirley Bice, and three sisters, Agnes Troyan, Grace McWilliams and Virginia Fowkes.
