Lawrence B. “Larry” Hillenbrand, 68, of Finleyville, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2013.
He was born November 25, 1944, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Jerome and Dorothy Boyer Hillenbrand.
Mr. Hillenbrand was retired as owner of the former Jerry’s Tire Service in the South Side of Pittsburgh.
He attended Mingo Presbyterian Church in Finleyville and enjoyed painting, gardening and spending time with his family.
Surviving are his wife, Cynthia Henk Hillenbrand; three daughters, Tracy Greenewald (Ryan) of Pittsburgh, April Frahlich (Jason) of Finleyville and Lori Eckenrode (Robert) of Elizabeth; and four grandchildren, Logan and Jacob Frahlich and Landon and Bailey Eckenrode.
Friends will be received from 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Kegel Funeral Home Inc., Tim P. Kegel, supervisor, 3560 Washington Avenue, Finleyville. Services will be held at noon Monday, July 15, in Mingo Presbyterian Church, Finleyville, with Pastor Glen McClelland officiating. Everyone please meet at the church on Monday.
