Pamela Ann Gries

Enjoyed fun times with husband and family

Pamela Ann Gries, 61 and a half, of West Finley, formerly of Montoursville, died Friday, July 12, 2013, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.

She was born February 28, 1952, in Montoursville, a daughter of the late Charles and Mary Louise Hilsher LeFever.

Mrs. Gries was a member of Immaculate Conception Church.

She was a graduate of Montoursville High School.

In 1971 she was employed as a flight attendant for Allegheny Airlines, along with her identical twin sister, Patti Ann Rossi. She later, along with her sister, became employed as a flight attendant for U.S. Airlines until her retirement.

Mrs. Gries enjoyed all the fun and meaningful times with her husband and family and also loved crafts. She was very artistic.

On November 20, 1983, she married Russell N. Gries, who survives.

Also surviving are brother Charles “Skip” (Fanny) LaFever; two sisters, identical twin Patti Ann (Charles) Rossi and Mary Louise (Michael) Pasnello; two stepdaughters, Suzann (Chris) Nagel and Nicole (Freddy) Rabner; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Deceased is brother Randy LaFever.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no public visitation. Burial will be private. Memorial contributions can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
