Clara Janet Jordan, 66, of Nemacolin, died Sunday, July 14, 2013, in her home, after a lengthy illness.
She was born April 13, 1947, in Perryopolis, a daughter of the late Edna Mae Forsythe and Sam Shields.
Surviving are her husband, Thomas Jordan; seven children, Nina Jordan of Nemacolin, Clara Piper (Bill) of Carmichaels, Barbara Phillips of Carmichaels, Thomas Jordan Jr., Joann Lowry (Todd) and Joyce Jordan, all of Nemacolin, and Jimmy Jordan of Waynesburg; a sister, Jenny Newman (Charles) of Point Marion; two brothers, Emmanuel Perkins of Pittsburgh and Robert Forsythe of Uniontown; and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased are two sisters, Edith Stebok and Rose Grow, and a brother, Oliver Forsythe.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 10 to 11 a.m., the time of service, Wednesday, July 17, in Lesako Funeral Home Inc., 204 Dowlin Avenue, Carmichaels, PA 15320, 724-966-5100, Paul M.
