Margaret Coffman Fuller

Margaret Coffman Fuller, 94, of Washington, died Saturday, July 20, 2013, in Washington Hospital.

She was born May 16, 1919, in McClellandtown, a daughter of Leonard Coffman and Grace McCann Coffman.

Mrs. Coffman was a graduate of German Township High School.

For 36 years, she worked for Bell of Pennsylvania, first as an operator and later in the engineering department, from which she retired.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and Order of the Eastern Star, Martha V. Paul Chapter, for which she was a past matron.

Mrs. Fuller was very patriotic and enjoyed traveling, crossword puzzles and crafts, especially crocheting.

Her first husband, Thomas Reed Franks, was killed in action during World War II.

On July 3, 1957, she married Earl Fuller Jr., who died September 16, 1980.

Surviving are a sister, Virginia Christopher of McClellandtown; two grandsons, Kevin Reed (Sherry) Franks and Keith Andrew Franks; a great-great-grandchild, Grace Ann Franks; a daughter-in-law, Andrea Franks, who was her primary caregiver; and a nephew, Timothy Christopher.

Deceased are two sons, David Franks, who died in infancy, and Thomas Lee Franks, who died February 11, 2008.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 24, with the Rev. Stephen Smythers officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
