Member of St. Francis of Assisi Church

Beatrice I. Donovan, 92, of Finleyville, died Monday, July 22, 2013, in Arden Courts Care Center, Jefferson Hills Borough.

She was born March 30, 1921, in Snowden, a daughter of Charles and Pauline Plank Williams.

Mrs. Donovan was a homemaker and had been employed as an office worker at the former Murphy’s Mart in Bethel Park.

She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Finleyville and Christian Mothers-Ladies Guild of the church.

Surviving are a son, James K. Donovan and wife Rose Marie of Courtney; a daughter, Janet Donovan of Finleyville; a sister, Mary Murray of South Park; five grandchildren, Michael Donovan (Cindy), Michelle Donovan (Patty Kreamer), Denise Scheiber (Leo), David Donovan (Kelly) and Joseph Donovan (Kerrianne); six great-grandchildren, Ryan, Nicholas, Joseph, Matthew, Emily and Zachary; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are her husband, James W. Donovan, who died in 1997; two brothers, Charles and Raymond Williams; two sisters, Catherine Russell and Pauline Miller; and a great-grandson, Jared.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Kegel Funeral Home Inc., Tim P. Kegel, supervisor, 3560 Washington Avenue, Finleyville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, July 26, in St. Francis Church, Finleyville, with the Rev. Robert J. Boyle, as celebrant. Interment will follow in Jefferson Memorial Park, Pleasant Hills.
