Jeffrey A. Hoffman died unexpectedly Friday, July 26, 2013.
He was the beloved husband of Marge Hoffman; son of the late Raymond and Marilyn Hoffman; loving father of Christopher and Joseph (Courtney) Hoffman; brother of Peter (Kristin) Hoffman, Virginia (Matt) Kotok, Mary Lou Hoffman and Karen (Rich) Viggiano; and beloved brother-in-law of Christine Jaroszynski (John) and Henry (Marcella) Jaroszynski. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Hoffman was an avid outdoorsman, Eagle Scout, hunter safety instructor and green thumb gardener. He had a true love for the outdoors.
He was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor of science degree in biology. He was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity.
On a nice day, Mr. Hoffman could be seen cruising down the road in his fire-engine red 1969 Camaro convertible.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and Monday in Szafranski-Eberlein Funeral Home Inc., 101 Third Street, Carnegie, where a blessing service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 30. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Carnegie.
