Ginger Hill woman worked at Pa. liquor stores
Stella Stazetski Soliani, 92, of Monongahela, Ginger Hill, died Saturday morning, July 27, 2013, in her home.
She was born February 26, 1921, in Bentleyville, a daughter of Samuel and Julia Wojtko Stazetski.
Mrs. Soliani was a 1939 graduate of Bentleyville High School.
She worked at the former Bane’s Drug Store and Timo’s Drug Store in Bentleyville and later for Pennsylvania liquor stores in Charleroi and Bentleyville.
Mrs. Soliani was a member of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Monessen.
On September 13, 1947, she married Frank Soliani, who died October 21, 2004.
Surviving are two brothers, Paul Stazetski (Sharon) and Joseph Stazetski, both of Bentleyville, and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are brothers Anthony, Michael, Samuel and George Stazetski and sisters Helen M. Soliani and Mary Schnupp.
Friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255, where a service will be held at a time to be announced Tuesday, July 30. Interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery.
