Willa E. Dowler, 98, of Midway, died Sunday, July 28, 2013, in Molinaro Manor.
She was born August 7, 1914, in Burgettstown, a daughter of the late Harry B. and Bena Miller Walker.
Mrs. Dowler was a homemaker.
She was a member of Center United Presbyterian Church in Midway, where she previously served as a deacon and sang in the church choir. She enjoyed being active in her church and spending time with her family.
Surviving are a son, Richard (Gerry) Dowler of Midway; a daughter, Marian (John Wesley) Loffert of North Carolina; grandchildren Wesley and Milton Loffert, Janice Fisher, Rebecca Roper, Jeffrey Dowler and Rita Bailey; 16 great-grandchildren; and brothers Fred Walker of Cross Creek and Jay (Shirley) Walker of Hickory.
Deceased are her husband, George Kenneth Dowler, in May 1994; brothers Wilbert, William, Leroy and Raymond Walker; and sister Freda Ziegler.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 and 8 p.m Tuesday in Thomas-Little Funeral Service Inc., 106 St. John Street, Midway, 724-796-3301, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 31. Interment will follow in Center Cemetery, Midway.
