Woodville Hospital employee loved country music, the arts
Sally E. D’Angelo Pancari, 92, of Bridgeville, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2013.
She was born November 22, 1920, one of 10 children, to the late Mary Henrietta Finocchi and John Battista D’Angelo.
Deceased are nine siblings.
She was the beloved wife of Frank Pancari for 53 years; cherished mother of Janet DeFelice Maioli (Ray); proud grandmother of Suzanne L. Lewis, Suzette DeFaveri (Richard), Susan M. Hurney (Donald) and Janet L. Gruda; and great-grandmother of Mario Didiano, Gregory Didiano, Heather DeFaveri and Chance R. Hartman. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and friends.
Mrs. Pancari came from an artistic family and enjoyed learning new ways to express her creativity. Her hobbies included, but were not limited to, ceramics, sewing, cake decorating, flower arranging and playing music. She loved listening to country music and traveling.
She worked at Woodville State Hospital for 25 years as a dietary supervisor.
Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville, 412-221-3333. Services are private.
