Atlasburg resident enjoyed crafting, family, friends
Catherine Ann Keating, 51, of Atlasburg, formerly of Eldersville, died Monday, June 3, 2013, in Center of Compassionate Care Family Hospice, Pittsburgh.
She was born February 21, 1962, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late John J. and Patricia Orga Keating.
Ms. Keating had been employed by Walmart in Weirton, W.Va.
She was a graduate of Avella High School and a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Burgettstown.
Ms. Keating enjoyed crafting but mostly spending time with family, friends and her canine companion, Molly.
Surviving are a son, Joseph Keating of Atlasburg; a daughter, Natalie (Thomas) Caniff of Steubenville, Ohio; brothers John (Gwen) Keating of Bulger and Thomas (Lori) Keating of Francis Mine; uncle Anselmo “Sam” “Unc” Orga of Cherry Valley; and two aunts, Mary McDonald of Pittsburgh and Rita Long of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Taucher Funeral Home, 23 Erie Mine Road, Burgettstown, where a blessing service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 6, with the Rev.
