Elizabeth E. Dusenberry
Former cook from Dilliner
Elizabeth E. Dusenberry, 95, of Dilliner, passed away quietly Tuesday, June 4, 2013, in Golden Living Center in Waynesburg. Born January 7, 1918, in Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Alvin and Effie Carper Stoneking.
A member of Church of Christ in Morgantown, W.Va., she had formerly worked as a cook at West Virginia Hospital and later in the produce department of University Foodland.
Surviving are a son, Ronald A. Dusenberry and wife Jean of Dilliner; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Irma Hamilton of Ohio.
Deceased are her husband, Lee Dusenberry, who died August 25, 1989; a stepson, Donald L. Dusenberry; two brothers, James and Minor Stoneking; and two sisters, Evelyn Keeney and Vonnie Donley.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and until 11 a.m., the hour of service, Friday, June 7, in Richard R. Herod Funeral Home, Point Marion. Interment follows in Highland Cemetery, Davistown. Visit www.herod-rishel.com.
