Antoinette R. Mann, 89, of Ellsworth, died peacefully Friday, June 7, 2013, surrounded by her family.
She was born March 27, 1924, in Ellsworth, a daughter of the late Emidio and Emilia D’Antonio Ross.
Mrs. Mann attended Ellsworth High School and was a graduate of Fuester Beauty School. For 54 years, she owned and operated Antoinette’s Beauty Salon in Ellsworth.
She was a longtime member of Ave Maria Parish Bentleyville.
Mrs. Mann enjoyed cooking, gardening and weekend trips to their mountain camp. Most of all, her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family. She loved having her family all together and especially enjoyed the time spent with her grandchildren.
On August 30, 1943, she married Jesse Mann, who died May 9, 2011. They celebrated 68 years of marriage.
She is survived by two devoted daughters, Gloria (Art) Navrat of Bentleyville and Jessica (Frank) Besedick of Monongahela; four grandchildren, Tiffani (Greg) Lusk, John (Beth) Navrat, Steven (Tina) Navrat and Ashley Besedick; six great-grandchildren, Kayla, Jonas, Lauren and Daniel Navrat and Hailey and Emma Lusk; two sisters, Dolly Rischitelli of Florida and Norma Wonsettler of Ellsworth; a brother, Frank Ross of Ellsworth; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to her husband and parents, are a son Jesse Mann; a grandson, Shawn Besedick; a great-grandson, Jonathan Navrat; and two brothers, Carlo Ross and Camille Ross.
Friends will be received from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday in Greenlee Funeral Home, 619 Main Street, Bentleyville, where a prayer service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 11, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Ave Maria Roman Catholic Church, Bentleyville, with the Rev.
