Alberta G. Shagas Hans, 87, died Sunday, June 9, 2013, in Washington County Health Center, Chartiers Township.
She was born March 3, 1926, a daughter of the late John and Barbara Slepowicz Shagas.
Ms. Hans was a retired waitress for the Holiday Inn in Robinson.
She enjoyed polka music and dancing, baking, vacationing to Erie with her family and her dog, Peaches.
Her husband, William Hans, died in 1982.
Surviving are children John (Gloria) Hans of Sturgeon, Barb (the late Ed) Craft of Langeloth, Billy Hans of McDonald, Debby (Tom) Morrison of Oakdale and Stanley (Tina) Hans of Oakdale.
She was the sister of Fran Shagas of Carnegie and Jean (Bill) Walter of Carnegie; grandmother of 11; great-grandmother of 20; and great-great-grandmother of two.
Deceased is a brother, Leonard Shagas.
