Enjoyed spending time with family, grandchildren
Edward Charles Williams, 56, of Waynesburg, died at 8:30 a.m. Sunday, June 9, 2013, in his home. He had been in his usual health and death was attributed to an apparent heart attack.
He was born Tuesday, February 26, 1957, in Somers Point, N.J., a son of Irene Katherine Warren Kindt of Cambridge, Ohio, and the late John Williams.
Mr. Williams was a member of Waynesburg Eagles Club Aerie 598.
He enjoyed fishing and shopping at bargain stores, like Goodwill and Ollies. He especially enjoyed spending time with family and his grandchildren.
While his health permitted, he worked at several pizza places in Waynesburg.
Surviving are his companion of 13 years, Margaret Shultz Rutan.
Also surviving are two daughters, Kathy McConnell and Tina Delgesso; son Mark McConnell of Holbrook; several grandchildren and stepgrandchildren; five sisters, Linda Williams and Ruthann Armenta, both of Cambridge, Betty Williams Cleates of Waynesburg and Gloria Shay and Connie Williams, both of Florida; seven brothers, Daniel Kindt of Cambridge, Jerry Williams of Ohio, Robert Williams of New Jersey, Fred Williams of Delaware, James Williams of Kentucky and Herman Kindt and William Kindt, both of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are four sisters, Peggy Stambro, Joan Howard, Anita McClary and Rose Marie Cross, and three brothers, John, Raymond and William Williams.
There will be a greeting of friends from 11 a.m. to noon, the time of a memorial service, Wednesday, June 12, in Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home Inc., Daryl L. Throckmorton, owner/director, 197 North Maiden Street, Waynesburg, with Charles Wolfe officiating. Burial will be private at Claughton Cemetery, Whiteley Township.
