Active volunteer fireman loved wrestling

Christian Patrick Quinn, 37, of Clarksville, died Wednesday, June 12, 2013, of an apparent heart attack.

He was born January 15, 1976, in Waynesburg. He was a son of Sandra Dusha Quinn Shimo and husband John “Moe” of Washington and the late James Richard Quinn.

Mr. Quinn was a 1994 graduate of Jefferson-Morgan High School and loved wrestling, from midget to heavyweight.

He was an active volunteer firefighter with Clarksville Volunteer Fire Company.

Mr. Quinn was known for being a very giving, friendly and lovable person.

Surviving, in addition to his mother and stepfather, are brother James Quinn and wife Terri of Masontown, W.Va., and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Deceased, in addition to his father, are maternal grandparents Walter and Betty Dusha and paternal grandparents James and Josie Quinn.

Friends and family will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the hour of service, Saturday, June 15, in Behm Funeral Home Inc., 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor, with the Rev. John R. Dorean officiating. Interment will follow in Jefferson Cemetery. Clarksville Volunteer Fire Company will hold a memorial service at 7:45 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. The fire company also wishes to honor Mr. Quinn with a fireman’s funeral and final farewell.
