Leona M. Kilgore, 73, of Washington, died at 4:35 p.m. Thursday, June 6, 2013, in her home.
She was born November 9, 1939, in Washington, a daughter of the late Stephen M. and Sophie Mikuta Mesko.
Mrs. Kilgore was a 1957 graduate of Washington High School.
She was employed by Western Center as a nurse’s aide for 17 years until her retirement.
On January 16, 1959, she married Raymond “Jack” Kilgore, who died February 15, 2010. They had celebrated 51 years of marriage.
Surviving are a son, Jack (Debbie) Kilgore of Washington; and three grandchildren, Katie (Mike) Leeper, Sara (Dominick) Lacaria and Jack R. Kilgore.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no public visitation. Burial will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of Warco-Falvo Funeral Home Inc., Wilson at East Katherine avenues, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director.
