Loved spending time with her grandchildren
Geraldine Ann Chaney, 64, of Houston, loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, died Friday, June 21, 2013, in Donnell House, Washington, surrounded by her family.
She was born October 13, 1948, in Robinson Township, a daughter of the late Boyd and Lillian Elder.
Ms. Chaney attended Chartiers-Houston High School.
She was employed by Giant Eagle as a buyer’s assistant to Scott Ackman, whom was like a son to her.
Ms. Chaney loved spending time with her grandchildren and vacationing at the beach.
Surviving are three daughters, Tracey (Mike) Tabron of Cokeburg, Amy (Bruce) Connor of Bethel Park and Deanna (J.D.) Franklin of Virginia Beach, Va.; five grandchildren, Chelsea Hardy, Michael and Dalton Tabron and Alexis and Austin Franklin; two sisters, Karen (John) Talerico and Shery (George) Lammay; and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a sister, Sandy; and a brother, Mark.
A memorial service will be held at 4:30 p.m. Monday, June 24, in Christ United Methodist Church, Highland Avenue, Bethel Park, with the Rev. George Lamma officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Anthony M. Musmanno Funeral Home, McKees Rocks, 412-331-0900.
