Thelma Mae Bryner

Thelma Mae Bryner, 94, of Washington, died Sunday, June 23, 2013, in Hixenbaugh’s Personal Care Home, Claysville.
She was born March 17, 1919, in Washington, a daughter of Joseph Tipper Perry and Helen Josephine Lindberg Perry. Mrs. Bryner was a homemaker.
She was a founding member of Glyde American Legion and one of the longest residents of Thomas Campbell Apartments, Washington.
Mrs. Bryner was a member of Jefferson Avenue United Methodist Church, Washington.
On July 14, 1937, she married Orville Ray “Bill” Bryner, who died September 1, 1983.
Surviving are a son, Donald (Marcelene) Bryner of Claysville; a daughter, Patricia (Fred) Gross of Pinellas Park, Fla.; eight grandchildren, Donald, Dan, Dean, Autumn, Marce, Jody, James and William; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two sons, James “Peg Leg” Bryner and William Bryner; a brother, Edward Perry; two sisters, Alice Patterson and Helen Jane Bryner; two grandchildren; Tracy and Shelly; and a great-grandchild, Candace.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 27. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery. View at www.nealfuneralhomes.com.
