Catherine Nunez
Catherine Nunez, 90, a resident of Providence Point, Pittsburgh, formerly of Langeloth, passed away Thursday, February 28, 2013, in St. Clair Hospital, Mt. Lebanon.
She was born June 17, 1922, a daughter of the late Castullo and Marta Pradetto.
Mrs. Nunez enjoyed crafting, cooking, traveling with her husband and spending time with family.
She retired from Burgettstown Auto Parts, where she was a bookkeeper.
On December 15, 1960, she married Joseph “Pill” Nunez, who passed away December 18, 2007.
Surviving are eight nieces and nephews, Martha Sarish-Brobeck and husband Ken, Anna Marie Cehelsky and husband Ron, Nancy DiCenso and husband Darren, Cathy Dalfol, Ron Pradetto and wife Linda, Janet Forney and husband Randy, Audrey Kusic and husband Jim and Patty Lese and husband Martin.
She is also survived by several great-nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to her parents and husband, are two sisters, Mary Pradetto and Anne Sarish, and a brother, Louis Pradetto.
Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Lee and Martin Funeral Home, 73 Highland Avenue, Burgettstown, where a blessing service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 4, with the Rev. Bob Staszewski officiating. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Florence.
