Matthew J. Aloe, 29, of Upper St. Clair, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2013.
He attended St. Thomas More grade school, where he was recognized as Student of the Year. He was a 2004 graduate of Upper St. Clair High School.
Mr. Aloe loved knowledge and enjoyed learning through online courses, Internet reading and television. He also enjoyed movies, museums, concerts, traveling and fine dining. He was also a Steelers fan.
Deceased are his grandparents, William Aloe and Harry and Pauline Aloe.
Surviving are his loving parents, Daniel (Deborah) Aloe and Kimberly Aloe; brother Evan Aloe; sister Ashley Aloe; grandmother Frances Aloe; stepbrother Gregory (Alejandra) Cohen; stepsister Merissa Cohen; uncles Joseph (Chris) Aloe, Andrew (Michelle) Aloe, David (Andi) Aloe and Mark Aloe; aunt Kathryn (David) Cashman; and numerous loving cousins.
Friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Beinhauer Funeral Home, 2828 Washington Road, McMurray, 724-941-3211. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Thursday, March 7, in St. Thomas More Church, 126 Fort Couch Road, Pittsburgh. John H. “Jack” Bedillion, 81, of Lagonda, South Franklin Township, died unexpectedly Sunday, March 3, 2013, in Washington Hospital.
He was born December 22, 1931, in Chartiers Township, a son of Henry H. and Mary Alice Ullom Bedillion.
Prior to his retirement in 1994, he was employed for 30 years at Jessop Steel, last serving as a power house engineer.
In his leisure hours, he was an avid gardener and kept horses and peacocks. He taught his girls carpentry and car repair.
On March 20, 1957, he married Betty C. Chadwick. Mrs. Bedillion died August 4, 2007.
Surviving are three daughters, Annette J. Wall of Chambers Dam, Margaret J. “Peggy” (Jim) Ducsay of Lagonda and Amy J. (Jeff) Antion of Bellefonte; sister Esther Bedillion of Washington; six grandchildren, Heather Zippay, Samantha and Nicole Haluschak, Alex and Ryan Antion and Ashley Ducsay; two great-grandchildren, Victoria and Aiden Zippay; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife, deceased are his brother, W. Wayne Bedillion, and a sister, Earline Blough.

Raymond N. “Bull” Clutter, 84, of Claysville, East Finley Township, died unexpectedly at 1:56 a.m. Sunday, March 3, 2013, in Donnell House, Washington, after being seriously ill for the past 11 days.
He was born December 25, 1928, in Morris Township, Greene County, a son of the late Willis L. and Melza Margaret Ealy Clutter. He had been a resident of East Finley Township all his married life.
Mr. Clutter was a member of Enon Baptist Church.
He was a self-employed farmer most of his life, raising beef cattle and enjoyed hunting.
Mr. Clutter was a veteran of the Korean War, having served with the U.S. Army as a corporal with Battery C, 24th AAA Gun Battalion and was awarded the Korean Service Medal with three bronze service stars.
He was employed by the former Washington Engineers and Ragnar & Benson Constractors prior to being employed as a laborer with the former McAnallen Construction Co. in Washington for 31 years until retiring in 1990.
Mr. Clutter was a member of Claysville American Legion Post 639 and Washington Moose Lodge for more than 30 years and a former member of Local 286 Laborers Union of Brownsville.
On May 1, 1954, he married Vivian W. Weir, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Jerry, husband of Sandra Clutter of Washington, and Ray M., husband of Kristy Clutter of Claysville; two daughters, Vicki, wife of Richard Supler of Rock Hill, S.C., and Charlene Stone of Claysville; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; six brothers, Leo, husband of Virginia Clutter of Washington, John, husband of Irene Clutter of Cleveland, Ohio, Roy, husband of Sue Clutter of Sycamore, George, husband of Barbara Clutter of Little River, S.C., Reed Clutter of Prosperity and Larry, husband of Joan Clutter of Philadelphia; and two sisters, Lena Taylor of Washington and Nancy Adkins of Claysville.
He will be sadly missed by his pet dog, Susie.
Deceased, in addition to his parents, are a grandson, Jerryd Clutter; three brothers, Willis, Louis and Fred Clutter; and two sisters, Margaret Amon and Lucille Katsaros.
Friends will be received from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Roadside Chapel in Pleasant Grove, East Finley Township, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 7, with the Rev. Meade Lacock officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Graveside military rites will be accorded by representatives of the U.S. Army and Claysville American Legion Post 639. Joseph Donald Comfort, 76, husband of Barbara Comfort, died Friday, March 1, 2013.
A native of Washington, he was a son of the late Joseph and Laura Staniford Comfort.
Mr. Comfort retired from Jenmar Corp. and attended First Presbyterian Church of Athens, Ga.
He attended the University of Georgia and played three seasons of football, 1955 to 1957, for the university.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are his children, Michael Comfort of Dallas, Ga., and Eric Comfort of Roswell, Ga.; brother Anthony Comfort of Washington; and two granddaughters, Caitlin and Cameron Comfort.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 9, in First Presbyterian Church of Athens, with Dr. W. Glenn Doak officiating. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall.

Jean Delsignore, 86, of Washington, died Sunday, March 3, 2013.

Clifton Dobbs Jr., 87, of Erie, passed away Friday, March 1, 2013, in Erie.
He was born September 4, 1925, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Clifton and Jannetta Eubanks Dobbs.
Mr. Dobbs grew up in Washington, where he graduated from Immaculate Conception High School.
He enlisted in the U.S. Army and served his country in Italy during World War II. He received the Purple Heart medal for wounds suffered in combat.
After moving to Erie, Mr. Dobbs worked for several local businesses before joining the City of Erie Police Department as a patrol officer. He was promoted to motorcycle officer, detective sergeant and retired as a lieutenant in 1988. After retirement, he went on to earn a bachelor of arts degree from Penn State Erie, The Behrend College.
He was the president of the Church Council of Immaculate Conception Church, board member of Catholic Charities and Better Homes and was a founding member of Perry Memorial (Smith Barney) Post 700 of the American Legion.
In addition to his parents, deceased are brothers Gaylord L., George E. and Dalhart T. and sisters Ida J. Scott, Rose M. Dobbs, Camilla A. Dobbs and J. Carmelita Dobbs.
Surviving are Jennie E. Dobbs, his wife of 65 years; two sons, Clifton III (Carol) and Marshall S. Dobbs; grandchildren John M. Larrabee (Patricia), Wendy Bounds (Damion), Shayne Perdue, Aramis Perdue, Briana J. Dobbs and Devon A. Dobbs; eight great-grandchildren; brother Vernon D.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
There will be no public visitation. Friends are invited to a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 7, in St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception, Erie, with Father Tom Alexa officiating.

Marjorie B. McCrory of Wichita, Kan., formerly of Washington, died February 28, 2013, in Wichita.
She was born April 28, 1918, in Beallsville, a daughter of the late Aaron C. and Maude Bristor Bonnell.
Mrs. McCrory lived in the Washington area most of her life and then resided in the Tampa Bay area for 35 years and most recently in Wichita for 15 years.
She attended Washington area schools and then went to business college.
Mrs. McCrory worked as a real estate agent, being the first female agent in Washington. She worked for the George Lenk Agency in Washington from 1952 to 1956 and then as a Florida Real Estate Commission broker for 23 years in the Sarasota/Bradenton area, where she had her own office.
On August 9, 1937, she married J. Kenneth McCrory, with whom she shared 49 years of marriage before his passing July 30, 1986.
She was Protestant.
Mrs. McCrory enjoyed volunteering at hospitals, both in Florida and Kansas.
Surviving are a daughter, Marjorie Grace Saindon of Wichita; four grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; as well as several great-great-grandchildren.
Deceased, in addition to her husband and parents, are two infant sons, James Melvin McCrory and Donald Eugene McCrory; brothers Melvin, Ora, Bud and Francis Bonnell; and sisters Mildred Bonnell, Elsie Ogden, Ruth Jennings, Della Willis and Louise Elliott.

Joseph Emery Palla, 72, of Ellsworth, died Monday, March 4, 2013, in Mon Valley Hospital.
Mr. Palla was born December 18, 1940, in Ellsworth, a son of Imrich and Anna Kvartek Palla, deceased immigrants from Smilno, Slovakia.
He was a graduate of Ellsworth High School and received a diploma from Penn Commercial and the Art Institute of Pittsburgh.
Mr. Palla was a U.S. Air Force veteran, having served four years in the military.
He was a member of Ave Maria Parish, Bentleyville.
Mr. Palla retired from Super Foods Services, Bellefontaine, Ohio.
Surviving are a brother and sister-in-law, Ed and Lee Palla of Ellsworth; a sister and brother-in-law, Martha and Stan Snodgrass of Ruffsdale; three nephews, Ed and Jon Paul Palla of Ellsworth and Ryan Palla of Jefferson Hills; and a great-niece, Carly Anne Palla.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Leonard M. Pavlic Funeral Homes Inc., 405 Main Street, Bentleyville. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, March 8, in Ave Maria Parish Church, Bentleyville, with the Rev. Edward Yuhas, pastor, as celebrant. Full military honors will be accorded by the South Hills Honor Guard 4666 and U.S. Air Force. Entombment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Carroll Township.
Salvatore B. “Sam” Reno, 65, of McDonald, Robinson Township, died Sunday, March 3, 2013, in St. Clair Hospital, Mt. Lebanon.
He was born July 15, 1947, in Detroit, Mich., a son of the late Bernard and Mary Evola Reno.
Mr. Reno was a warehouse person for Supply Tech in Lawrence.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Surviving are his wife, Dawn Porter Reno; sons Samuel (Christie) Reno of Imperial and Mark (Jamie Diamond) Reno of McDonald; grandchildren Alissa and Benjamin Reno; and brother Bennie Reno and sister Rose Marie Laplante, both of Westland, Mich.
Friends will be received from noon to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Thomas-Little Funeral Service Inc., 314 West Lincoln Avenue, McDonald, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 7. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township. Full military rites will be accorded by Canonsburg Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 191 and Houston American Legion 902.
