Frances Spanogians
Frances Spanogians, 91, of Presbyterian SeniorCare, Washington, formerly of Hindman Avenue, Burgettstown, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2013.
She was born March 24, 1921, a daughter of the late George and Jane Huber.
Mrs. Spanogians was a graduate of Hickory High School and attended Penn Commercial.
She was a member of the former Hillcrest Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Spanogians was an avid gardener and bird enthusiast.
On July 31, 1943, she married Angelo J. Spanogians, M.D., who passed away August 18, 2004.
Surviving are three sons, James G. Spanogians and wife Elsie of Columbia, Ga., John M. Spanogians of Greenville, S.C., and Christopher Angelo Spanogians of Burgettstown; three daughters, Pamela J. Meilton and husband Andrew of Pickerington, Ohio, Victoria L. Duran, wife of the late Timothy, of Bulger and Rebecca K. Allyn of Midway; 15 grandchildren, Jason, Sabrina, Allyson, Rob, Brian, Samuel, Daniel, Christy, Abigail, Andrea, Evan, David, Hali, Jennifer and Peter; and several great-grandchildren.
Deceased, in addition to her husband and parents, are a sister, Betty Jane Mills, and a granddaughter, Jill.
To honor her wishes, services and interment will be held privately in Grandview Cemetery, Florence. Lee and Martin Funeral Home, Burgettstown, is handling arrangements.
