Agnes M. Pirillo
Agnes M. Pirillo, 78, of Strabane, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2013, in Life Care Hospital, Bellevue.
She was born June 29, 1934, in Strabane, a daughter of the late Louise and Ann Progar Moze.
Mrs. Pirillo lived her entire life in Strabane where she was a member of SNPJ Lodge 138 of Strabane and a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church of Canonsburg.
She was a devoted wife and mother to her family, remembered for her cooking and baking.
For nearly 55 years, she was married to her beloved husband, Patsy Pirillo, who survives. They celebrated their anniversary January 14.
Also surviving are a daughter, Patricia “Penny” Roden of Duquesne, and several nieces and nephews. She was the last of her immediate family.
Deceased, in addition to her parents, are seven sisters, Ann Holcomb, Katherine Fall, Rose Marie Barney, Betty Moze, Pauline Stevens, Dorothy “Dolly” Celio and Josephine Benny; and four brothers, John, Louis, Joseph and Frank Moze.
Friends are welcome from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Salandra Funeral Service Inc., Joseph P. Salandra, owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, 724-745-8120, where a blessing service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 15.
