Doris Louise Shriver Walker, 87, of Washington, died Saturday, March 9, 2013, in Donnell House, Washington.

She was born October 31, 1925, in Wayne Township, Greene County, a daughter of Elza Lee and Audie Opal Hamilton Shriver.

Mrs. Walker was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

She was married to Stephen Weir Walker, who died April 25, 1991.

Surviving are a son, Larry Simmons and his family; a daughter, Linda Kay Simmons Michlik and her family; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and nephews and their families.

In addition to her husband, deceased are a sister, Donnis E. Shriver, and five brothers, Chester W. Shriver, Daniel Burl Shriver, Elza Arnette Shriver, Francis Richard Shriver and Herbert Shriver, who died in infancy.

In keeping with Mrs. Walker’s wishes, all visitation and funeral services will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hummell & Jones Funeral Home, Thomas W. Hummell, supervisor, Douglas M.
