Debra Ann Veltri
Debra Ann Veltri, 63, of Washington, died Saturday, March 16, 2013, in Donnell House, Washington.
She was born October 26, 1949, in Greenbrae, Marin County, Calif., a daughter of Wilmer Townsend (Elaine) of Alabama and the late Faye Leona Gaffney Townsend.
Mrs. Veltri was a graduate of Novato High School and worked as a seamstress at Veltri Cleaners for 20 years.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and always enjoyed time with her close friends and family. She also enjoyed all outdoor activities, especially camping, boating, yard work and traveling, spending some of her best weekends at Tygart Lake.
Mrs. Veltri was Catholic.
On March 15, 1968, she married her husband of 45 years, Michael J. Veltri Sr., who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Michael (Lori) Veltri and Matthew (Hilary) Veltri, and a daughter, Michele (Gene) Mercer, all of Washington; a sister, Susan (Gerry) Wilson of Sonoma, Calif.; and five grandchildren, Andrew Mercer, Joey Mercer, Destinee Knox, Michael Veltri III and Marco Veltri.
Friends will be received from 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Monday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 19.
