Mary Elizabeth Cox
Mary Elizabeth Cox of Leland, N.C., passed away Friday, March 15, 2013, in Leland.
She was born September 8, 1931, in Washington County, a daughter of the late George Clark and Marie Wilson Coffee.
Mrs. Cox worked for Trinity School District in housekeeping for 18 years.
On April 11, 1947, she married Kenneth E. Cox, who passed away March 12, 2013.
Deceased are two brothers, Paul and Raymond Coffee.
Surviving are two children, a son, Kenneth E. Cox (Cecilia) of Leland, and a daughter, Robin Haines of Angleton, Texas; four grandsons; a granddaughter; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a niece, Mrs. Glenda (David) Burt of Washington.
