Joseph Maylan Cikovic Jr.
Joseph Maylan Cikovic Jr., 90, of Burgettstown, died Tuesday, March 19, 2013, in his home.
He was born September 22, 1922, in Langeloth, a son of the late Joseph M. and Mary Cikovic Sr.
Prior to retirement, Mr. Cikovic was employed by Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel.
Mr. Cikovic was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during World War II.
Surviving are two sons, Bernard (Margaret Ann) Cikovic of Palm Beach, Fla., and Randy Cikovic of Burgettstown; four grandchildren, Carter and Sydney Cikovic and Tiffany and Ben Cikovic; a great-grandchild; and a sister, Nancy Mikula of Burgettstown.
Deceased are his wife, Geraldine Prado Cikovic, who died February 5, 1995; two daughters, Donna Cikovic and Trudy Lynn Cikovic; and three sisters.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no visitation. Other arrangements will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to a charity of one’s choice. Arrangements are being handled by Taucher Funeral Home, Burgettstown.
