Sherry D. Watson
Sherry D. Watson, 61, of Washington, died at 9:52 a.m. Monday, March 11, 2013, in Hadley Hospital, Washington, D.C., after a lengthy illness.
She was born September 7, 1951, in Washington, a daughter of the late Floyd W. Watson Sr. and Thelma V. Chandler Watson Davis.
Ms. Watson was a member of Apostolic Christian Temple in Washington.
She was once employed at Brockway Glass.
Ms. Watson attended Washington High School.
She loved her time spent with family and friends and loved to play bingo.
Surviving are a daughter, Thelma-Jo Watson Smith (Shennan Smith); two sons, Ramont Small (Tiffany) of Monessen and James Prince Jr. of Canonsburg; a brother, Floyd Watson Jr. (Patricia Patterson) of Washington; six grandchildren; and nieces, nephews and cousins.
Deceased are two sisters, Julia Mae Watson and JoAnn Reed.
There will be a memorial service held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 23, in Apostolic Temple Church, 164 West Wylie Avenue, Washington, with Pastor Myron Jones officiating.
