Frances C. Lytton
Frances C. Lytton, 84, of Canton Township, died Sunday, March 24, 2013, in her home. She had been in declining health for a number of years.
She was born July 31, 1928, in Claysville, a daughter of the late Arthur and Ethel Carpenter Cummins.
Mrs. Lytton was a graduate of Trinity High School.
She loved to travel and enjoyed gardening, raising flowers, cooking and baking. More important to her was time spent with her large family.
On December 1, 1946, she was married to Lawrence E. Lytton Sr., who died November 25, 1998.
Surviving are four sons, Lawrence E. (Debbie) Lytton Jr. of Claysville, James (Lisa) Lytton of West Alexander and Charles and Kenneth (Cara) of Claysville; four daughters, Virginia M. (Steven) Mersky of Washington, Bonnie (Rom) Mansoura of San Francisco, Calif., Lois (Ricardo) Gregg of Claysville and Karen Roth of Washington; a brother, Charles Cummins of Washington; six sisters, Dorothy Cummins and Judith McDonough, both of Claysville and Mona Lesnock, Shirley Phillips, Betty Sprowls and Mary Williams, all of Washington; 20 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Deceased, in addition to her husband, are a sister, Maureen Main; a brother, Robert Cummins; and a grandchild, David Michael Gregg.
