Mary M. Hutter Slider
Mary M. “Butchie” Hutter Slider, 66, formerly of Washington, died Thursday, March 28, 2013, in Washington Hospital.
She was born September 30, 1946, in Washington, a daughter of Robert and Laura Gagnon Hutter and was a homemaker. She enjoyed her children and grandchildren.
Surviving are five sons, Robert Slider of Weirton, W.Va., Chris Silder (Diana) of Greensburg, David Slider (Melinda) of Erie, Joey Slider (Celena) of Weirton and Allen Slider (Crystal) of Erie; two daughters, Helena Fischer (James) of Washington and Jodi Valentine (Tom) of Belle Vernon; two brothers, Keith Hutter and Allen Hutter, both of Washington; three sisters, Shirley Sprowls and Debbie Hutter, both of Washington, and Sandra Allen of High Point, N.C.; 28 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are her husband, Wilbert Slider; a son, Russell Slider; and a sister, Carol Kernde.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday in Sollon Funeral Home Ltd., 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, J. David Sollon, supervisor, Phillip L. Sollon, director, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, April 1, with the Rev. Shirley Sprowls officiating. Interment will follow in Washington Cemetery.
