Mildred Mae Allen, 80, of Washington, died Wednesday, March 27, 2013, in Presbyterian SeniorCare, Washington, following a lengthy illness.

She was born November 5, 1932, in Washington, a daughter of Julius “Jule” Moore and Grace Noble Moore.

Mrs. Allen was a homemaker and enjoyed horseback riding, polka and country dancing, traveling and shopping.

In 1949, she married Leo Charles “Punk” Allen, who died November 10, 2009.

She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church on Meyers Road, Washington.

Surviving are two sons, Johnnie (Eleanor) Allen and Dennis (Sandy) Allen of Washington; a daughter, Cindy “Cricket” (David) Lemley of Washington; five grandchildren, Johnnie Allen Jr., Casey and Cody Lemley, Kim Fox and Joie Durbin; and six great-grandchildren, Cheyanne, Dustin, Chase, Cole, Cody and Sabre.

Deceased are a grandson, Brian Mitchell; a brother, Donald Moore; and a sister, Gladys Wright.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, April 1, with the Rev. Jason Jablonski officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions to Alzheimer’s Association, 1100 Liberty Avenue, Suite E-201, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.
