Rachel A. Fodse
Rachel A. Fodse, 62, of Midway, died Wednesday, May 1, 2013, in Canonsburg General Hospital.
She was born June 1, 1950, in Canonsburg, a daughter of the late Clyde M. and Gladys R. Kendall Daniels.
Mrs. Fodse was a 1968 graduate of Fort Cherry High School and a graduate of Pittsburgh Beauty Academy.
She worked as a hairdresser and was the owner/operator of the former Rachel’s Beauty Shop in McDonald. She loved her job and was always happy fixing people’s hair.
Mrs. Fodse was a member of Center Presbyterian Church in Midway.
On May 20, 1972, she married Richard L. Fodse, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Danielle Fodse of McDonald and Bobbie (Rob) Springer of Waynesburg, and three grandchildren, Tylor, Robby and Hunter.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Nation Funeral Home Inc., 220 East Lincoln Avenue, McDonald, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 6.
