Gail Beeler

Gail Beeler, 85, of Washington, died Sunday, May 5, 2013, in Southmont of Presbyterian SeniorCare, Washington.
She was born March 10, 1928, in Washington, a daughter of the late Ross David and Etha Eleanor McNary Leonard.
Mrs. Beeler was a member of Friendship Community Church and was a former member of Faith United Presbyterian Church, where she served as a deacon and taught Sunday school.
She was a 1946 graduate of East Washington High School.
Following high school, she was employed by F.W. Woolworth Co. and W.T. Grant Co.
Mrs. Beeler was highly active as a volunteer and enjoyed sporting events, musicals, square dancing and traveling with her husband.
On November 17, 1951, she married Edger Baker Beeler, who died July 13, 2008.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a brother, Ralph McNary Leonard, and three sisters, Ruth Leonard Gardner, Helen Leonard Rush and Mary Leonard Wagner.
She will be remembered as a loving sister, aunt, neighbor and friend who cared most about the needs of others. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Friends will be received from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., the time of service, Wednesday, May 8, in Piatt and Barnhill Funeral Home, 420 Locust Avenue, Washington. Interment will follow in Emmanuel Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Eighty Four.
