Claudia E. Wagner, 98, of Washington, died Saturday, May 11, 2013. in Washington County Health Center, Chartiers Township.

She was born November 16, 1914, in Sykesville, a daughter of John and Esther Zinko.

Mrs. Wagner was a homemaker. She also was employed by Harpers Feed in Washington as a secretary and Black Top Paving, from where she retired.

She was a graduate of Washington High School and was a member of Catholic Daughters of Immaculate Conception Church.

Mrs. Wagner married Carl J. Wagner, who died October 19, 1982.

Surviving are her children, son Martin Wagner of Washington, son Robert (Carol) Wagner of Finleyville, daughter Charlotte (Karl) Evans of Washington and son David P. (Mary) Wagner of Grants Pass, Ore.; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Wagner was preceded in death by a brother, Anthony Zinko, and a sister, Olga Carpenter.

Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Warco-Falvo Funeral Home Inc., Wilson at East Katherine avenues, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director, where a prayer service will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday, May 16, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, Washington.
