Rose Marie Bologna Friday
Rose Marie Bologna Friday, 71, of Hickory, died at 5:03 p.m. Friday, May 17, 2013, in UPMC-Shadyside hospital, Pittsburgh.
She was born August 24, 1941, in Avella, a daughter of the late Gesido and Assunta Tulle Bologna.
Ms. Friday attended Burgettstown High School and was employed as a manager for 20 years at Settlers Place Apartments in Hanky Farms, retiring in 2007.
She had lived in Hickory since 1974.
Ms. Friday was a member of St. Michael Roman Catholic Church of Avella.
She was a true animal lover and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Surviving are a daughter, Susan (Bobby) Morrow of New Port Richey, Fla.; three sons, Robert J. Friday of Hickory, Michael Friday (and fiancée Pam) of Hickory and Joseph (Larissa) Friday of Bethel Park; four grandchildren, Nicholas, Alexa, Kayla and Adam; and four brothers, Vincent (Evelyn) Bologna of Follansbee, W.Va., Louis (Linda) Bologna of Akron, Ohio, Raymond (Christina) Bologna of Moon Township and Anthony (Mary) Bologna of McMurray.
Deceased, in addition to her parents, is a brother, Joseph Bologna.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in Jerome A. Stefkovich Funeral Home Inc., 18 Campbell Street, Avella. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 21, in St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, 95 Highland Avenue, Avella, with the Rev. Robert M. Staszewski officiating. Burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery, Avella. Memorial contributions may be made to Washington Area Humane Society or St. Michael Church Building Fund.
