Anne Bertovich
Anne Bertovich, 94, of Bentleyville, died Monday, May 20, 2013, in Lasosky Personal Care Home, Clarksville.
She was born January 1, 1919, in Bentleyville, a daughter of John and Julia Puskarich Bertovich.
Miss Bertovich was a member of Ave Maria Parish in Bentleyville, a member of Catholic Daughters of America Court Dolores, Bentleyville, and a member of Croatian Fraternal Union Lodge 354, Cokeburg.
She retired as co-owner of Hillcrest Dairy and Bertovich Farm in Bentleyville. She was very well known for her famous walnut fudge.
Surviving are her brother, John Bertovich of Clarksville, several nieces and nephews, as well as numerous great- and great-great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Leonard M. Pavlic Funeral Homes Inc., 405 Main Street, Bentleyville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 23, in Ave Maria Parish with the Rev. Edward L. Yuhas as celebrant. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Carroll Township. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Ave Maria Parish.
