Joyce Arlene Lunn, 86, of Washington, died Monday, May 27, 2013, in Washington Hospital.
She was born June 15, 1926, in State College, a daughter of Leroy and Jean Wolf Winand.
Mrs. Lunn was a member of Taylorstown Presbyterian Church, Lagonda Homemakers Group and the Claysville Eastern Star. She was a mother adviser to the Rainbow Girls and a volunteer at Washington Hospital for many years.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed reading and needlecraft and, in recent years, crocheted slippers and helmet liners to send to active-duty military overseas.
On December 20, 1947, she married Robert A. Lunn, who died May 10, 2013.
Surviving are a son, Scott “Shoe” Lunn of Deer Lake; a daughter, Rebecca Danley of Tuscon, Ariz.; three grandchildren, Joyce Ann Brooker and Melissa and Eric Lunn; and three great-grandchildren, Sarah, Haley and Katelynn.
Deceased, in addition to her husband, are two brothers, Fremont and Harry Winard.
At the request of the family, there will be no visitation. Arrangements are being handled by William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
