Peters Township resident

Mary Lorraine Carson, 81, of Peters Township, peacefully passed away Monday, May 27, 2013.

She was the beloved wife of Walter Carson for 60 years; loving mother of Bruce (Cheryl), Robert (Jackie), Jill (Ray) Price, Richard (Amy) and Craig (Zoe); grandmother of Aaron, Erik, Kristin, Kaitlin, Kyle, Lindsey, Brandon, Beckham, Alden and Scarlett; great-grandmother of Lukas and Liam; sister of Arlene Frasca, Elsie Robison, Linda Ferrari, the late Sharon Bullard and Joyce Olson; and daughter of the late Charles and Mary Robison. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Carson graduated from Avella High School. She then went on to graduate from Washington School of Nursing in 1952 as a registered nurse.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Beinhauer Funeral Home. Greensboro resident was security guard

Walter E. Clark, 63, of Greensboro, died Sunday, May 26, 2013, in his home, following a lengthy illness.

He was born May 15, 1950, in Washington, a son of the late Henry D. and Jennie Slobodgen Clark.

Mr. Clark was Catholic.

He had most recently been working as a security guard in Greene County.

Surviving are three children, Virginia Pace of North Carolina, Danielle Almeida of New Jersey and Maj. Jeffrey Clark, with the U.S Army in Maryland; eight grandchildren; a niece, Michelle Cohen of Washington; and many friends.

In addition to his parents, deceased are a brother, Henry Clark Jr.; a sister, Linda Copechal; a stepsister, Nedra Frazee; and a niece, Kimberly Copechal.

Graveside services are planned for Washington Cemetery.

Well-respected coach of community athletics

John T. “Duke” Duke, 65, of Canonsburg, Chartiers Township, passed away unexpectedly Monday, May 27, 2013, in his home, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born December 20, 1947, in Southview, a son of the late William Charles and Anna Marie Malinak Duke.

Mr. Duke lived most of his life in Canonsburg and was a 1966 graduate of Fort Cherry High School.

He was a member of Christ Church at Grove Farm in Sewickley.

Mr. Duke had served with the U.S. Army and had been employed as a machine operator at the former Forbes Steel and Wire until its closing in 1990. Prior to his retirement, he had been employed as a correction officer with SCI-Greene for 14 years.

He loved his family, God, gambling, golf and most sports.

Mr. Duke was a well-respected coach of community athletics most of his life.

On November 16, 1984, he married Lynda Wagner, who survives. Also surviving are five daughters, Carrie M. (Joseph E. Jr.) Bozic, Dee Dee (Tim) Conner, Casey Wagner, Ashley Duke and Anna Duke, all of Canonsburg; a son, William John “Charlie” Duke of Washington; ten grandchildren, Brittany and Brooke Bozic, Jacob Bendik, Riley and Eva Conner, Lauren and Sophia Duke, Taylor Wagner, Logan Setto and Madison Duke; five sisters, Elizabeth (Milan) Yilit of Avella, Barbara Purdy of McDonald, Evelyn Logar and Dorothy Markle, both of Washington, and Patricia (Joseph) Rolek of Canonsburg; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased, in addition to his parents, is a sister, Anna Marie Hete, who passed away April 23, 2009.

Claysville U.M. Church member loved baseball

Hildreth Meta Francis, 88, of Brackenridge, formally of Claysville, died Monday, May 27, 2013, in Applewood Personal Care Home, Brackenridge.

She was born July 10, 1924, in Pittsfield, Mass., a daughter of Ernest William and Hedwig Manske Gall.

Mrs. Francis was a graduate of Bethlehem Central High School in Delmar, N.Y. She was a homemaker and at one time was employed by Ward Printing as a bookbinder.

She was a member of Claysville United Methodist Church. She played the squeezebox accordion and loved baseball, especially the Yankees and later the Pirates. She also enjoyed gardening, NASCAR races, canning, crocheting and knitting. 

On October 29, 1965, she married Charles Kenneth Francis Sr., who died April 6, 2001.

Surviving are a son, Charles K. “Bud” (Brenda) Francis Jr. of Tarentum; a daughter, Lisa “Lee Ann” (Charles) Sorice of Washington; two stepsons, Charles E. (Barbara) Francis of Claysville and George P. (Gaye) Francis of Carlisle; two stepdaughters, Peggy Jo (Bernard) Bakaitis of Canonsburg and Mary Lou Galentine of Washington; three grandchildren, Kathryn Grace Sorice, Alexa Grill-Francis and Grace Grill-Francis; nine stepgrandchildren, Lisa Moore, Elaine Saltzman, Lyle Galentine, Bernard and Kenneth Bakaitis, Christi Jeffreys, Rachelle Hudak and Robert and Jason Francis; numerous great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews, nieces, a great-nephew and great-nieces.

Deceased are three brothers, Ernie, Herb and Gary Gall; a stepson, John K. Francis; and a stepdaughter, Mona Lee Morris.

Devoted family man was avid Pittsburgh sports fan

Peter Paul “Gom” Goimarac Jr., 48, of Peters Township, suddenly passed away Monday, May 27, 2013.

He was the loving and devoted husband of his high school sweetheart, Dana Tiburzio Goimarac, for 25 years; loving father of Elizabeth Michelle Goimarac and Peter Paul Goimarac III; son of Carol and the late Peter Paul Goimarac Sr.; grandson of Helen Reid; brother of Marci (Andy) Tedesco; uncle of Abigail, Frances and Josephine; and son-in-law of Rudy and Pam Tiburzio.

Mr. Goimarac was a proud graduate of West Virginia University, Mountaineers, with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.

He was employed at J.C. Penney for more than 20 years as a retail manager. In his remaining years, he worked for the U.S. Post Office.

Mr. Goimarac was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan who had a wonderful sense of humor and was always able to make people smile. Above all, he was very devoted to his family. He loved being with his family and the people his family loved. He will truly be missed by all who knew him.

Championship bowler sang in church choir

Theresa Josephine Headley, 80, of Clarksville, died Friday, May 24, 2013, after a 16-month courageous battle against an aggressive cancer. Her family was with her at the Laurel Ridge Center in Uniontown at the time of her death.

She was born October 3, 1932, in Dry Tavern, a daughter of Lucy and Martin Grash.

Mrs. Headley was an alumna of Jefferson High School in Jefferson and a member of St. Oliver Plunkett Parish, St. Michael’s Church, in Fredericktown.

She had two sons, Edward William Headley and Albert Martin Headley, whom she loved dearly, and two grandsons, Nicholas and Christopher Headley, who were the light of her life.

Mrs. Headley and her late husband, Albert Duvall Headley, owned the Headley Country Bowl in Carmichaels. She was an avid, excellent bowler and a longtime member of the Pennsylvania State Women’s Bowling Association. Consistently winning many competitive certificates and awards, she participated annually in women’s and mixed bowling leagues through the end of 2011. She loved to discuss her weekly scores with everyone, and she cherished the camaraderie of her teammates. Competing in state-wide Championship Bowling Tournaments, in which she also won awards, was a highlight for her each year.

She was always a hard worker who, in her retirement years, had a cleaning business which supplemented her income and enabled her to continue her active lifestyle. She loved taking time to make new friends while continuing to enhance her many longtime cherished friendships. Some of the things that she loved to do, in addition to bowling, were playing table games, visiting with friends and family, watching Pennsylvania-based professional and collegiate sports teams compete, collecting recipes and cookbooks, cooking and baking, singing in her church choir and playing her Wurlitzer organ at home.

Mrs. Headley enjoyed doing things for her friends and family, and she gained strength from her deep faith in God and her personal relationship with Jesus Christ. She knew that she had the gift of eternal life, and she was secure in that knowledge.

Surviving are her sons, Edward W. Headley and wife Janet E. Michael of Portland, Maine, and Albert M. Headley and girlfriend Dandi Tamburlin of Crucible; grandsons Nicholas and Christopher Headley; and siblings Mary Ann Russell, Margaret Pilie and Carl and Joseph Grash.

Deceased are her parents, Martin and Lucy Grash; husband Albert Duvall “Skip” Headley, who died May 24, 1998; a brother, Leonard Grash; and a sister, Helen Suehowicz.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 1, 2013, in St. Oliver Plunkett Parish, St. Michael’s Church, 21 Bank Street, Fredericktown, with Celebrant Father Paul J. Grunebach and Homilist the Rev. Deacon Thomas Raymond.

Following the Mass, a Celebration of Life luncheon will be held in Nemacolin Country Club in Beallsville. Subsequently, interment will be in St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church Cemetery, Crucible.

Supporter, follower of Wash High athletics

Douglas LaVelle Henderson, 56, of Washington, died Saturday, May 25, 2013, in his home.

He was born February 13, 1957, in Washington, a son of Chester and Virginia Lovings Johnson.

Mr. Henderson was a graduate of Washington High School, where he played football and was a 1976 WPIAL champion in wrestling. Throughout his life, he remained a follower and supporter of Wash High athletics.

He worked as a box maker for International Paper and enjoyed being with his family and grandchildren.

On March 3, 1984, he married Jane Ayre, who survives.

Also surviving are three sons, Mathu (Tracy) Thomas of Houston, Doug (Carlie) Henderson of Orlando, Fla., and Chet (Cigi) Henderson of Washington; a daughter, Sarah (Larry) Grandon of Houston; a brother, David Cook; four sisters, Judy Lightfoot, Joyce Stamie, Brenda Vactor and LaRue (Chuck) Davis; six grandchildren, Julius, Keeley, Deja, Porter, Chessa and Camrik; several nieces and nephews; and an aunt, Grace Thomas.

Deceased are a brother, Emmett Henderson, and a sister, Sherry Henderson.

He also leaves behind his faithful followers, his dogs, Coco and Indy.

A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday, May 30, in John Wesley United Methodist Church, Washington, with the Rev. Harold Knappenberger officiating.

Marianna resident

Geraldine V. Hightower, 91, of Marianna, died Tuesday, May 28, 2013, in Presbyterian SeniorCare.

She was born February 28, 1922, in Prudence, W.Va., a daughter of the late Goldie and Edward Higginbotham.

In addition to her parents, deceased are her husband, James Hightower; a son, Robert; as well as her siblings, Rose, Mary, Edna, Aubrey and Louis.

Surviving are children William “Sickle” Smith (Vickie Patterson) of Washington, Sharon (Lennie) Willis of Washington and Lynette (James “Snap”) Malloy of Marianna; grandchildren; and many great- and great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Enjoyed reading and needlecraft

Joyce Arlene Lunn, 86, of Washington, died Monday, May 27, 2013, in Washington Hospital.

She was born June 15, 1926, in State College, a daughter of Leroy and Jean Wolf Winand.

Mrs. Lunn was a member of Taylorstown Presbyterian Church, Lagonda Homemakers Group and the Claysville Eastern Star. She was a mother adviser to the Rainbow Girls and a volunteer at Washington Hospital for many years.

She was a homemaker who enjoyed reading and needlecraft and, in recent years, crocheted slippers and helmet liners to send to active-duty military overseas.

On December 20, 1947, she married Robert A. Lunn, who died May 10, 2013.

Surviving are a son, Scott “Shoe” Lunn of Deer Lake; a daughter, Rebecca Danley of Tuscon, Ariz.; three grandchildren, Joyce Ann Brooker and Melissa and Eric Lunn; and three great-grandchildren, Sarah, Haley and Katelynn.

Deceased, in addition to her husband, are two brothers, Fremont and Harry Winard.

Antoinette “Nettie” Maffio, 97, of Canonsburg, passed away Sunday, May 26, 2013, in ManorCare, McMurray.

Verona resident, formerly of Jefferson

Loretta V. Nicholson, 78, of Verona, formerly of Jefferson, died Monday, May 27, 2013, in her home.

She was born February 24, 1935, in Jefferson, a daughter of the late John V. and Estella McHenry Banks.

Mrs. Nicholson was a 1953 graduate of Jefferson High School and lived most of her life in Jefferson. She had moved to Verona in 2002 with her husband.

At the time of her death, she was a member of East Liberty Lutheran Church in East Liberty and had been a former member of Little Zion Baptist Church, Jefferson.

For many years, she and her husband were foster parents in Greene County.

On June 30, 1956, she married Frank L. Nicholson, who died September 22, 2011.

Surviving are five children, Kimberly E. Nicholson of Penn Hills, Lynnese Y. Nicholson of Penn Hills, Dameion J. Nicholson of Jonestown, Maurice F. Nicholson of Penn Hills and Michael K. Cook of Penn Hills; 11 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a sister, Norma M. Kent of Cleveland, Ohio.

Deceased is a brother, John Banks.

U.S. Navy veteran loved spending time with family

Robert L. Paris Sr., 73, of Atlasburg, passed away Monday, May 27, 2013, after a brief illness, at home with his loving wife by his side.

He was born December 3, 1939, in Beech Bottom, W.Va, son of the late Orlando and Eleanor Paris.

On April 27, 1963, he married Patricia McKee, who survives. They recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

Mr. Paris was a U.S. Navy veteran who served on the USS Norfolk.

He had been employed at Testa Machine, Joy Manufacturing and Paris Contracting and assisted his wife with Paris Catering. 

Mr. Paris had a special place in his heart for his daughter-in-law, Anita, who became his loving caregiver. He also enjoyed road trip vacations and casino outings with his son, Robert.

He loved his faithful dogs, Lemon, Harley and Nurse Thelma, and spending time with family at his pool.

He was the beloved father of Lisa (Bobby) Burris of Peters Township, Robert L. Paris Jr. of Slovan, Jeffrey (Anita) Paris of Atlasburg, with whom he lived, and Monica (James) Punday of Canonsburg; dear brother of Karen and Thomas; he raised his wife’s siblings, Trece (Gerald) Kovach of Oakdale, Anne Marie (Raymond) Dubich of Houston and Timothy (Tina) McKee of Wellsburg, WV; cherished grandfather of Paige Burris and Gino, Marco and Angelo Colavecchia; and loving uncle of J.C. McKee III, Ryan Kovach, Erin and Amy Dubich and Timothy McKee Jr.

Enjoyed traveling and cooking

Audrey G. Richman passed away peacefully in her home Tuesday, May 28, 2013.

She was born December 28, 1935, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of Hyman and Jean Gefsky.

Mrs. Richman attended Taylor-Alderdice High School, the University of Miami (Florida) and the University of Pittsburgh.

As a young woman, she had lived in New York City, where she worked for Columbia Records and was thrilled to meet many of its great artists from the ’60s.

She was working for Coty Cosmetics as a make-up artist and sales trainer and was living in Philadelphia when she met and married Stephen I. Richman, a Washington attorney.

During their 43-year marriage, she worked as a manager of real estate and as office manager of her husband’s law firm. Her chief avocations were traveling and cooking. Her travels took her to all nonpolar continents and included a trip around the world.

Preparing to be an amateur chef, Mrs. Richman attended schools for cooking taught in Pittsburgh by the research chef of H.J. Heinz; in Positano, Italy, taught by the acknowledged master of the Neapolitan School; in Oaxaca, Mexico, and in Napa, Calif. Her primary residence was the Beau Regency Penthouse in Washington, and she also maintained a residence at the Crystal House in Miami Beach, Fla.

As a Washington resident, she had been a candidate for delegate to several Democratic National Conventions.

She was an active member of Beth Israel Congregation in Washington.

As co-trustee of the Stephen I. Richman and Audrey G. Richman Foundation, and as an individual, she supported generously and enthusiastically religious, educational and cultural charities in Washington and Miami.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are her daughter, Susan Richman and husband Mark Friedman, and grandchildren Nicholas and Chloe Friedman, all of Hastings-on-Hudson, N.Y.; a brother, Jay Gefsky and wife Rhoda, and a nephew, James Gefsky, all of Pittsburgh.

Deceased is her son, James Richman.

Mrs. Richman spunkily endured rheumatoid arthritis for many painful years, but with great strength and determination, she managed to overcome it by living according to her motto, “Lift yourself up, dust yourself off and start all over again.”

She was loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

World War II veteran

Leo P. Russell, 94, died peacefully Tuesday, May 21, 2013, surrounded by his family.

Mr. Russell touched the lives of countless people and will be remembered as a man of faith, integrity and devotion to the causes and organizations important to him. He loved family gatherings and was the life of many parties. Until recently, he continued to enjoy a game of golf at Chartiers Country Club, where he was the longest tenured golf member.

He was born March 15, 1919, a son of Niles Edward and Helen Davis Russell.

Mr. Russell spent his early childhood in Linesville and Erie before his family moved to Mt. Lebanon in 1929.

He graduated from Penn State University in 1941 with a bachelor of science degree in industrial engineering and remained a loyal alumnus, attending his 70th reunion in 2011.

During World War II, he served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Cincinnati and the Tarawa.

Along with his father, he founded Russell Industries, an asphalt paving contractor, which he sold in 1996. He was an active member of the industry, serving as president of the Constructors Association of Western Pennsylvania in 1974 and president of the Association of Pennsylvania Contractors from 1981-82.

Service was important to Mr. Russell. He spent many years on the board of the Pittsburgh Guild for the Blind and was honored in 1994 with the Monsignor Paul M. Lackner Humanitarian Award. He also served as president of St. Clair Hospital board and was active with St. Vincent de Paul Society and Serra Club. He created two awards at Penn State, the Pauline Schmitt Russell Distinguished Research Career Award in the College of Health and Human Development and the Leo P. Russell Graduate Fellowship in Civil Engineering. His stepchildren also created the Leo and Marie Russell Scholarship, given each year to two graduating seniors at Mt. Lebanon High School.

Mr. Russell was the beloved husband of the late Marie Heim Fleming and Pauline Ann Schmitt; devoted father of John (Marilyn), Stephen (Kathleen), Marie (Kenneth) Klaer, Mark (Gail), Kevin and the late Michael Russell; father-in-law of Nancy; brother of the late Edward Russell, Margaret Johnson and Mary Jane (Rusty) Trotter; stepfather of Terrence (Heidi), David (Elizabeth), Peter (Molly), Daniel and the late Virginia Fleming; grandfather of Amanda (Thomas), Andrew, Erin, Patrick, Meghan, Thomas, Margaret, Connor, Fiona, Tricia (Davis), Michelle, Eileen, Christopher, Dillon, Eric, Sarah (Jeff), Stephanie, Patrick, Christie, Bridget and the late Eric; and great-grandfather of Ella, Anna, Alexandra and Ashley.

Judith Bargar Saver, 64, of Stowe Township, died Saturday, May 25, 2013.

She was a daughter of the late Elizabeth M. Walshe and Francis M. Bargar; mother of Deborah (Ronald) Kushner and Gary (Brenda) Saver; grandmother of Beth Ann and Faith L. Kushner and Bowen and Brendan Saver; and sister of Mary Tucci, Cora Haney, John and Robert Bargar, the late Francis Bargar and her twin, Joseph Bargar.

Eighty Four resident enjoyed reading

Robert Smith Sr., 83, of Eighty Four, formerly of Charleroi, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2013, in his home, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born January 23, 1930, in Monessen, a son of the late William Sr. and Jessie Gardner Smith.

Mr. Smith was a former contractor and owner of Romar Construction Co., a member and president of the Highland-Erie Committee and a former Mason. He also was chairman and a founding brother of the Smith-Madison Family Reunion.

He enjoyed reading, watching Westerns on television, bowling and tennis.

Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Marie Smith of Eighty Four; eight children, Shirley (late Frank) Robinson of Atlanta, Ga., Marie (Edward) Hickman of Detroit, Mich., Robin (Amadou) Dione of Las Vegas, Nev., Robert Smith Jr. of Meadow Lands, Mark Smith of Washington, Stacy (Jason) Hollis of Verona, Lisa (Timothy) Watts of South Strabane and Rae Neil Smith of Nottingham Township; 11 grandchildren, Frank, Jason, Jamie, Jennifer, Robert, Cheresse, Latoya, Randis, Jared, Jacob and TiLisa; several great-grandchildren; sister Vivian Rodgers of Manhattan, N.Y.; stepbrothers Charles, Norman, Earl and Robert Madison; stepsisters Barbara Edwards and Roberta Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, deceased are four brothers, a stepfather, two stepbrothers and two stepsisters.

Family and friends were received Tuesday in Nazareth Baptist Church, 123 North Lincoln Street, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 29. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray. Funeral services are entrusted to William R. Taylor Funeral Home, 645 McMahon Avenue, Monessen, supervisor Trudy Taylor-Bristol, director in charge of arrangements, 724-684-4877. Dedicated employee of General Electric

Bryan A. Stein, 59, of Scenery Hill, formerly of Pittsburgh, passed away Monday, May 27, 2013.  

Mr. Stein was born November 10, 1953, in Pittsburgh, son of the late Adrian and Marion Stein.  

He was the husband of Mary Jo Sarmir Stein; cherished father of Bryan J. Stein of Scenery Hill and Allison R. Stein of Scenery Hill; and loving brother of Adrienne (Frank) Czaniecki of Matthews, N.C., and Carol (Bob Sr.) Ference of South Park Township.

Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Stein was a member of the Knights of Columbus at Ave Maria Parish. 

For 24 years, he was a dedicated and conscientious employee who worked for General Electric.

Faithful member of St. Genevieve & St. Patrick churches

Margaret K. Trylko, 90, of Canonsburg, passed away Monday, May 27, 2013, in Canonsburg General Hospital.

She was born March 8, 1923, in Canonsburg, a daughter of the late Joseph and Nellie Rusiewki Jackovic.

Mrs. Trylko lived her entire life in Canonsburg, where she had been a faithful member of St. Genevieve and St. Patrick churches.

She was a homemaker and member of the Jednota Lodge, Canonsburg Senior Citizens and the former Women’s Guild of St. Genevieve.

On December 28, 1946, she married Carl C. Trylko, who passed away September 25, 1996.

Surviving are a daughter, Bernice (Robert) Bodvake of Canonsburg; son Dennis (Johanna) Trylko of McMurray; brother Joe (June) Jackovic of McMurray; three grandsons, Ronald Bodvake and Brad and Eric Trylko; two great-grandchildren, Ryan and Lauren Elizabeth Bodvake; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased, in addition to her husband and parents, is a sister, Doris Hrycko.

Brick and stone mason was Vietnam War veteran

Ted Williams, 71, of Eighty Four, died Saturday, May 25, 2013, in the emergency department of Washington Hospital.

He was born and raised in Georgia and moved to the Eighty Four area in 1977 and had resided there since.

Mr. Williams was born May 24, 1942, in Good Hope, Ga., a son of the late Zelmer and Eliza Mae Goods Williams.

He served in the U.S. Marine Corp during the Vietnam War serving as a combat engineer. For his service, he received a Purple Heart, the Vietnam Service Medal and the National Defense Service Medal.

For the last 14 years, he attended Christian Assembly of God in Bentleyville, where he was very proud to have served on the deacon board and also was the custodian.

For 40 years, he was very proud to be a brick and stone mason, helping to build many homes throughout the area. In his later years, he became a certified nurse’s assistant and also worked part time at Bob Evans and Cracker Barrel.

Mr. Williams was always willing to lend a helping hand and everyone always referred to him as a “nice” guy. He was liked by all kids who came into his life, especially nieces, nephews, church and neighborhood kids.

He was a great storyteller, telling many stories about his childhood in the South. He enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with family and friends.

Mr. Williams will be sadly missed by his dog, Buddy.

On October 8, 1979, he married Debra Doyle, who survives. They celebrated 35 years together.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two sons, Barry Thomas of Pittsburgh and Tyrone Brown of Monroe, Ga.; a daughter, Liza Hickman (John) of Atlanta, Ga.; three grandchildren, Barry, Destiny and Trae; four sisters, Linda Towler, Jeanette Starks (Larry) and Annette Barnes (Charles), all of Bethlehem, Ga., and Peggy Dupree (Tommy) of Albany, Ga.; a brother, Charlie Williams (Patricia) of Monroe; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased, in addition to his parents, are two brothers, Willie “Bill” and Sam Williams, and two sisters, Bessie Williams Garrett and Mary Alice Johnson.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Greenlee Funeral Home, 619 Main Street, Bentleyville. A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Friday, May 31, in Christian Assembly of God, 100 Meadow Drive, Bentleyville, with the Rev. Paul Peternel officiating. Interment will be private.
